I don't know about you, but I LOVE a long December! Ok... so it's always 31 days... but this year, we have 4 weeks post-Thanksgiving before Christmas break! Bust out those jingle bells, people

In honor of extra time to celebrate the holidays, I wanted to share a FREE printable of a strategy I love - Holidays Around the World. This book includes a verse about each of 4 holidays, to the tune of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. As you turn each page, acknowledge what students celebrate each holiday. Maybe they can even share a family tradition they have! Does one of your students celebrate a holiday that is not included? Ask them to share about their holiday.

I think it is a beautiful thing to have warm conversations about our differences. In a culture that says no one is allowed to disagree with anyone, I believe we CAN disagree AND still be kind to each other!
