Not-So-Scary Halloween Strategies

Entering the second week of September, I'm asking myself - where has August gone?! Now October is just around the corner, and as you plan ahead for next month, I would love to share some not-so-scary Halloween strategies that I am super excited about! Your school district may be like mine was where creepy or overtly Halloween themed strategies were discouraged, but wait! These strategies include smiley skeletons (think skeletal system - not the un-dead!), jack-o-lanterns (think expressive pumpkins!), and exploring ooey gooey textures! Check out this example of one of the instrument strategies!

For more ideas, check out my Halloween Pack printable with strategy suggestions and visual aids for all grades, prek-12! Address goals such as taking turns; identifying pictures and objects; improving motor skills; counting; exploring textures; identifying emotions and more!

Included in this digital download are 7 strategy suggestions for the following: The book "Dem Bones," 2 instrument songs, 1 dance song, 1 texture song, and 2 original visual aids, "Ghostbusters" and "Jack-O-Lantern Faces." Get ready for a fright-fully fun fall! EnJOY!
